The IV series, executed between 2002 and 2004 and would not have been possible without the help of Dr. Ed Farrar in the acquisition of materials. The series, includes several sculptural pieces, paintings and drawings. IV bags cause a number of responses in most people that range from fear to resignation to appreciation. This series was an exploration of the way information can enter our systems of thinking without conscious evaluation, as if it bypasses our brains, our systems of logic and simply becomes true.
