The work in these pages comes of a long fascination with, appreciation of and fear for the natural world. Travel is my window and my wanderlust is fed by a need to experience more. I have an abiding sense that the most beautiful places are where the human footprint is lightest or tenuous or ancient and fading. Our fragility comforts me when I find it. Our tyranny distresses me when it reveals itself.
